Kusum Gboo, which is derived from "Ga" language, simply means
"tradition never dies".
("Ga" is one of the predominant languages spoken in Accra.)

Over the past years, the company has gained wide recognition throughout Ghana, the West African sub-region and Europe largely due to its spectacular performances to highly enthusiastic audiences. It has also held workshops/seminars on African culture in numerous schools and colleges in some parts of Europe.

Kusum Gboo's last tour of the Netherlands in the summer 2001 was a great success. Performing at the 14th edition of Festival Mundial alongside the Senegalese singer Baba Maal and other renowned artists, Kusum Gboo dazzled and mesmerized audiences in over thirty venues throughout the country.
