The group also performed and held several workshops throughout The Netherlands including the University of Maastricht and the
Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Den Haag. Its debut album ''Akrowasei'' was
launched in Accra by the first Deputy Speaker of Ghana's Parliament,
Honourable Freddie Blay in August 2001.

Kusum Gboo Dance Ensemble‚s mission is to promote and
sustain African Culture by presenting dance and music that
illuminates the richness and diversity of African traditional values.
