"Akrowasei",
a piece choreographed by Richard Danquah, artistic director of
the group was accompanied by raffia skirts neatly decorated with
colours of the Ghana flag. Set in an African village with a bright
moonlight "Akrowasei" charmed the audience with arms
that moved in all directions with controlled elegance.
"Atsiagbekor",
a warrior dance piece normally performed by the Ewe speaking people
of Ghana and Togo was provided with a fresh breath owing to a
rearrangement that exposed a subtle but pronounced increase in
form and tempo.
