- Review of the 4 days workshops at the
Centre for the Promotion of African Culture (CAK),
Oslo,
It was an aesthetic piece of art that moved with extreme restraint
and elegance as arms, legs, heads, bottoms and bodies were temporarily
opened to all kinds of transmutations.
Despite
the lack of raw energy and power, the sequences moved into each
other with relative ease as sixteen Norwegian women exposed their
skills
in African dance after a five-day workshop held by the Kusum Gboo
Dance Ensemble at the Centre for the Promotion of African Culture
(CAK) in Oslo.
